Tomorrow we gather for worship in the usual way, 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul’s. But no worship service is ordinary! Come and pray to and praise the one who calls you to do justice in your own life. Also, Monday is election day, so come and take some time on this important Sunday to pray for all leaders, both those here in Canada and those around the world.

In the afternoon we continue our Bible Study. If you’re wondering what teachings well be looking at, go to this page. I hope to see lots of you there!

Now a other heads up. November 1st is a special day because we are celebrating the 183rd year of worship in the building we call St. Paul’s Church. Now this is special enough for anyone, but as a great or guest speaker will be former moderator The Very Rev. Dr. Peter Short. Many will know Peter from his time at St. Paul’s in the last few years, if not for his presence in Fredericton for some time now. But that’s not all! Because we are having a special day, or brothers and sisters from Wilmot United will be joining us for worship, and so we have another edition of Downtown United to celebrate! Oh, and there will be cake, probably should have opened with that.

On the evening of November 1st we are celebrating this anniversary with a dinner. It’s a ham, scalloped potatoes, and beans supper for $25 per ticket, $5 for children under 12. There will also be dessert to follow. All proceeds go to putting us over the top for our Screens Fundraising Project. Come join in this time of fellowship and celebration!

Peace,
Rev. Richard
