St. Paul’s office will be closed for staff vacation from August 26th to September 4th, reopening after Labor Day Weekend.
Worship at Wilmot September 3rd
The worship location for Sunday, September 3rd has been changed to Wilmot United Church.
Fall Kick-Off
Mark your calendars now for our September kick-off on September 10th. This will be the official start to our fall programs and we are looking to make it a celebration! This will also mark a ramp up in our celebration activities and push as we move towards our 190th Anniversary Service. We will be welcoming out kids back to Sunday school for children 4 and older, our nursery provides an opportunity for parents to listen to the service while children play. Keep your eyes out in September for a list of church activities and opportunities to gather as a community of faith! September 10th will also be marked by the blessing of the backpacks and brief cases. So don’t forget yours!

FundScrip returns September 10! If you’ve used up all the gift cards you purchased for the summer, now is the time to get your order ready. Order forms are available in the church office or click here to print one September 10th FundScrip Order Form.pdf Several retailers including Boston Pizza, American Eagle and Petro Canada are offering back-to-school promotions in September by increasing the value of their donations. You can take your order and payment to the office this week, after Labour Day or bring it to church on September 10. New supporters always welcome! School Supplies – Thank You!
Thank you for donating to our school supply fund! This year, we made $370 and were able to provide for 8 students from 1st to 12th grade.
Farewell to our Summer Students
The time has come to bid farewell to our awesome summer students Zosia and Logan. We would like to extend a sincere Thank You for all of your hard work and assistance over the summer. We wish you much rest and relaxation before returning to school in a few weeks. Have a great school year! Big thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hi, it meant a lot to us.

If you are suffering the loss of a loved one, GriefShare is being offered at Brunswick Street Baptist Church beginning Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 7:00 pm, in the Family Room on the 1st Floor of our Family Life Center. Grief Share is a 14-week video series by Christian experts on grief and recovery, combined with support group discussions for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. DivorceCare
If you know someone who is going through marital separation or divorce, invite them to consider joining our 13-week DivorceCare program, a ministry which will begin on Tuesdays, Sept. 12, at 6:30 p.m. in the Family Room of Brunswick Street Baptist Church. Each evening includes the presentation of videos with expert counsellors sharing insights on how to move from hurting to healing. In addition, supportive conversation provides encouragement to participants led by Gloria Tranquilla, Pauline Harvey, and Bryan McWilliam. Looking for Used Snowblower
Winter’s around the corner and at St. Paul’s that means having to clear all the snow from the parking lots. We’re looking for a snowblower to help make this job a bit easier for us. If anyone has a snowblower they can donate, that would be greatly appreciated.
Flea Market Vendors Wanted
Forest Hill United Church, in collaboration with St. Matthew Lutheran Church, will be hosting a Flea Market on Saturday, September 23rd from 9 am to noon at 45 Kimble COURT, Fredericton. Vendor set up will be on Friday, September 22nd from 6 to 8 pm. 2 1/2′ x 4′ tables are available for $10 each. Sunday School Leaders Needed
HEY ADULTS! Are you available to help with the Sunday School for three-week stretches? We are looking for leaders to help share the love of God with our youngest congregation members. All serving in the Sunday School will need to provide a valid vulnerable sector police record check. If interested, please contact Erin Hayes at hayes.erin11@gmail.com
Brown Bag Lunch Program
This week, the program needs proteins with flip top lids, granola bars, and juice boxes. Thank you for your continued support and generosity of this program.
Pantry Program
The Pantry program needs the following items this week: stove top, hamburger helper, sugar, cookies, flour, mushrooms, corn, Cheez Whiz, Mr. Clean, laundry detergent, crackers, jam, molasses, chunky soup, pudding cups, ketchup, paper towels, Kleenex, salt. Thank you for your continued support!
